Use the Week Board: Autosave, Hidden Picks, and Pick Locks
Navigate Pool Weeks, understand save status, and know when picks become locked or visible.
The Board is the shared game-day workspace for both Survivor and Confidence Pools. It shows the selected Pool Week, game slate, your editable picks, save state, and other Participants’ completion status.
Change weeks
Use the week chips near the Week Board heading to move between available Pool Weeks. Survivor may make several future weeks pickable at once. Confidence has at most one Pickable Week at a time.
Changing the selected week does not discard an accepted pick. Wait for the save state to confirm before navigating away from a change you just made.
Autosave
There is no submit button. Only Pools saves each accepted change to the server:
- Saving means the current change is in progress.
- Saved confirms that the server accepted it.
- An error explanation tells you the change did not save. Follow the message and try again while the relevant Pick Lock is still open.
For Survivor, selecting a team saves the weekly pick. For Confidence, winner changes, confidence-value changes, and the Weekly Tiebreaker Prediction save as separate edits.
Pick Locks
A Pick Lock is irreversible. After it is reached, the affected choice cannot be submitted or changed.
Under Game Kickoff, a Survivor Pick locks with its selected game. Confidence predictions and their values lock one game at a time, leaving later games editable.
Under Weekly Cutoff, early games still lock when they start. Every remaining choice locks Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Board disables locked controls and shows Pick Lock reached. A schedule update may move a future lock, but postponement or rescheduling never reopens a lock that already happened.
Hidden Picks
Before its Pick Lock, an accepted pick is visible only to its author. Other Participants see completion information such as Pick saved · Hidden, not the selected team. Pool Owners and Pool Admins cannot reveal the choice through normal Pool access.
After the applicable lock, the Board can display the locked selection or its provenance:
- authored means the Participant made the choice;
- automatic identifies the fallback Confidence Pick Set created for a completely untouched week; and
- omission means a required choice locked without a valid prediction or Survivor Pick.
Pick and result labels
Projected (non-official) uses live NFL data for awareness. It does not change official standings, eligibility, or winners.
Verified Result is official and can be applied to scoring. A later corrected result can revise affected outcomes and standings.
Choose the right picking guide
The controls below the slate differ by Pool type:
- Make Survivor Picks explains selecting one team, used-team history, provisional picks, and elimination.
- Make Confidence Picks explains winner predictions, confidence values, the weekly tiebreaker, and automatic sets.
