Understand Standings and Results

Read weekly and season standings, pick outcomes, projected scores, and verified results.

The Standings section shows official competitive results. Its layout differs between Survivor and Confidence Pools, but both rely on Verified Results rather than projected game data.

Survivor standings

Survivor Standings show each Participant’s eligibility and week-by-week pick history.

  • Alive means the Participant remains eligible to pick.
  • Eliminated means a loss, tie, or missing required pick ended eligibility.
  • Winner status appears after the Pool reaches a terminal Survivor outcome.

Use the week controls to inspect the available history. A pick cell can identify the team, outcome, omission, or other settled state. Picks remain Hidden from other Participants until their applicable Pick Locks.

Confidence standings

Confidence has two views:

  • Weekly ranks Participants by official points for the selected Pool Week, then uses the Weekly Tiebreaker Prediction when it has a usable Verified Result.
  • Season totals points from fully resolved Pool Weeks. Weekly tiebreakers add no points and do not break equal season totals.

Equal results share competition ranks. For example, two Participants tied for second produce ranks 1, 2, 2, 4.

Possible remaining points describe points a Participant can still legally earn in an unresolved week. They exclude already incorrect predictions and choices that locked without a valid prediction.

Projected and verified results

The Week Board may show Projected (non-official) outcomes from live game data. These previews do not change official ranks, Survivor eligibility, winner status, or Pool completion.

A Verified Result is the first coherent terminal score accepted from the authoritative provider and can be applied to scoring immediately. Weekly Confidence Standings update progressively as Verified Results arrive. Season Standings advance only after the entire Pool Week is resolved and its scoring succeeds.

Corrected results

An authoritative correction can replace a previously applied Verified Result. Only Pools recalculates every affected Pool result in order. That can change pick outcomes, Survivor eligibility, weekly points, ranks, Season Standings, or whether a Pool is Active or Completed.

The prior application remains part of the scoring and audit history; Pool Owners cannot manually override an NFL result.

When no standings appear

A new Pool may show no standings until picks lock and official scoring has something to publish. Projected games alone are not enough. If a required game remains Pending, final weekly or season results wait for its Verified Result.
